You could also try a different brand of CD-R to make sure it's not the media. I tried going to Control Panel>>iTunes>>select "Change" and then "Repair". It says Unknown Error code 4000 or 4500 It worked fine last week I've Googled this error and went to the Apple website on their message board but nothing has worked But these came fewer and more far between. Kate Friday August 8, 2008 at 2:26 AM Reply I reduced the write speed and that fixed the problem for me. I've dropped the burn rate down to the lowest setting with only one consistent result: Songs 1 through 6 will play and the following skip and then don't play at all. Help !
