I've purchased one 100 spindle of blank discs by Memorex and one 30 spindle of the same brand. I bought the laptop primarily to house all my itunes files, pictures, and videos. What I finally ended up doing was going out and buying a new disc burner. Uninstall drivers for my Matshita (In Sony Vaio laptop) CD/DVD drive and replace them.
